Dental Insurance and Financing

Almost 70% of all Americans have some form of dental insurance coverage.  If you’re one of the 200 million with coverage, and have questions about your insurance, then we can help.  Dental insurance doesn’t have to be confusing.
Here are a few of the most common questions we get from our patients in Indianapolis, Lebanon, and Kokomo Indiana.

What is a deductible?

A deductible is the dollar amount that you pay before your insurance coverage is taken into consideration. With your yearly benefits, you will need to cover this portion before your insurance kicks in.  Deductibles can vary depending on your plan; so check your coverage to find out what yours is.

At your initial consultation we can determine what your deductible is and go over all the financing options offered for our dentures, extractions, and dental implants.

What do I get for free with my insurance?

Typically, two times a year 80-100% of the cost of your cleanings and check ups are paid with your yearly benefits.  If your plan covers 100%, then that will be free!

Dental benefits unfortunately do not roll over at the end of the year, so we always recommend using them prior to the end of December.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?

We offer financing through CareCredit, a healthcare credit card with financing options for 6-12 months (with no interest rate).  Longer options are also available with additional interest.  We have also recently started working with a new company, Fortiva Financial and they have been great!  You can fill out all the forms online or we are happy to do with you at your first appointment.
